Our Mission
The EDH Promise Foundation directly benefits our community by supporting many services and recreation opportunities available in El Dorado Hills - public parks and amenities, health and welfare, senior and youth services, and education and recreation programs that cannot be provided by other means.
Who We Are
The EDH Promise Foundation was created to foster philanthropy for the lasting good of EDH and is led by a group of community-minded volunteers.
What We Do
The high-quality programs of the EDH Community Services District, other local organizations, and the Promise Foundation serve our community funded with donations from residents like you.
Who & What We Serve
We support local parks, the Senior Center, local youth programs, schools, and many projects that improve the lifestyle and community of El Dorado Hills.

Foundation SuccessES:
Selected Promise Foundation successes include funding to offset costs of recreation and enrichment classes for > 100 local families and individuals in need of financial assistance through the CSD’s CARE program; modernization and improvements to audiovisual and information technology at the Moni Gilmore Senior Center; collaborative funding for the CSD’s drowning prevention pilot program for school children; support for the EDH Bowmen’s Club program; EDH Soccer Club scholarships; Veterans Memorial at Promontory Park; Dog Park amenities; Youth Sensory Swim Program and, support of sustainable and environmental preservation projects.
These positive impacts on the lives of EDH residents are accomplished through successful grant awards, private donations, and local fundraising events.
BASS LAKE REGIONAL PARK
In Spring 2019 the EDH Promise Foundation embarked on a Non-Profit Leadership Role and Partnership with the CSD to help in the development of a spectacular resource of just over two hundred acres of land and lake – a ‘gem’ that is to become the brand-new Bass Lake Regional Park for all!
